Leaving Christchurch at 8.00am, your tour will travel south to Geraldine. Geraldine is a beautiful, sub alpine village in Canterbury it is a wonderful place for a coffee and an amble around the array of shops: arts and crafts galleries, specialty food stores which sell high-quality local wines, cheeses, chutneys and gourmet items. Afterwards you will take part in a horse Trek through the dense virgin bush of the Peel Forest Park on the south bank of the Rangitata River: An unforgettable experience.
From Nelson, the tour continues south to the colourful town of Motueka. Our tour will offer you fantastic views of the Abel Tasman National Park, while sailing on clear, blue water enjoying a coffee or a late afternoon drink. You will see Split Apple Rock, New Zealand fur seals and a spotted cormorant nesting colony. The evening’s activity is a barbeque near the beach.
Originally named for gold found in the area, Golden Bay still deserves the name due to its golden-sand beaches and awe-inspiring countryside.
